2 months - How many feeds per day?

My girl is EBF and we cut the 8th feed about a month ago... is anyone only doing 6 feeds a day? I would love to put her down after her 7:00 feed.. it’s so hard to wake her for her last feed at 9:30
In order to keep squeezing in 7 feeds I would have to feed her every 2 hours during the day because she’s a great sleeper at night

I feed on demand. And honestly, i have never counted how many times a day. Baby usually goes to sleep between 8-9pm, wakes up usually once but sometimes 2x a night and the. Wakes up around 7-8 for an hour or two. 
I dont think you should worry about how many times as long as baby has enough wet diapers, is gaining weight and seems content.

i’ve never counted! i just feed him when he’s hungry, usually every 2-3 hours. he goes 3-5 hours at night usually.

We’re still at 8ish feeds per day. She eats 3oz every 2 hours (maybe once a day I can stretch it to 3 hours) and she gets a little snacky in the evening. She still wakes up 1-2x per night (3am and 6am) to eat.

She had said not to wake her at night. The problem is she literally never wakes up eat. She has tons of awake time after feedings but then once she’s down for a nap I always have to wake her to eat at the 3 hour mark. I’m also not an overproducer. I get about 4 oz total if I pump so I’m nervous she won’t get enough! I guess I’ll just keep an eye on wet diapers and growth etc

I wouldn’t wake her for the last feed if her weight isn’t an issue. My doc said Miller baby sleep at 1 month. What does your doc suggest?
