Should I let him come to the appointment ?

I just found out that I’m pregnant and my first appointment is next Friday. My now ex-boyfriend and I broke up a few days ago.. he texted me and told me he still wants to come to the appointment but I really don’t want him to. What should I do?

Honestly if he wants to be involved I would let him. Its actually good that he wants to be involved most don’t. So why take that opportunity away from him .

I would let him be involved. He doesn't need to be at every single appointment but the big ones for sure. The first appointment is one of the big ones so I'd let him go. Just because you broke up doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to get to be there for the baby.

He deserves to go, just think about if it were the other way around. Say he had the child and was caring for it and you wanted to go, how would you feel if he wouldn’t let you? It might be hard, but you don’t have to talk or even look at each other. It’s about the baby.

Yes, absolutely. You’ve created a permanent bond with this man. You may not be dating anymore, but you are both the responsibility of this child and will be for the rest of your lives. 
You’re going to have many Christmas’s, Fathers/Mother’s Day, School Holidays and Birthdays where he will be entitled to also share with your child.
Breaking up with him has only broken the intimate bond between the two of you, not your Baby. Like it or not, this guy is going to be in your life for good. Maybe not 100% of the time, but he’ll always play a major role.

Your choice. Don't let him if u don't want him there. Plus, if u guys just broke up I know it takes time to get over a person and seeing them will just make things worse. I'd call him or text him after the appointments and let him know how everything went.
