Holding bottle?

Is anyone else’s babe not holding their own bottle yet? My girl CAN hold it but pretty much refuses to and would rather play with her hair while someone else holds it.

My little girl can and does sometimes, but still likes for us to hold it a majority of the time. Her bottom two teeth ate coming in, so she would rather chew on the nipple or pull the bottle out of her mouth and have it make that popping sound over and over. Lol

Mine doesn't. She can hold it but won't. She likes to rub my hand or play with her ear while she drinks a bottle. When she does hold it she usually just throws it across the room.

Mine can,but doesn’t. He rather rub my face or if he’s tired his hands automatically go up over his eyes as soon as he sees the bottle coming. It’s kind of funny. Hands over eyes and mouth wide open just waiting

My little girl has been holding her bottles for at least 6 weeks now, probably closer to 8 weeks!

These comments are a relief because my mom keeps telling me, “You were holding your bottle by now,” and I know my girl just isn’t there yet. She CAN hold it if it has 4oz or less but the larger ones are harder. She holds it to play with it. And if I’m taking too long she will grab it and pull it towards her mouth. But she loves to hold it right in front of her lips and it’s just cute and there is no going back from that ever if I make her learn to hold it. I just don’t think we’re ready for that independence yet. At least I’m not, and she’s so happy to have someone hold it. It’s not time yet.
