Everyone is different. Some need to completely wean to get pregnant, but for most they just need to either wean a few nursings or change the length of the nursings, such as only allow baby to suck for 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes. I got pregnant at 13 months postpartum and I am still nursing. I haven’t even had a period. I had to stop night nursings and I started taking Maca root. I’m not sure the Maca did anything or if it was from night weaning. No I wouldn’t just assume you will ovulate in 14 days. I really recommend taking ovulation tests and temping. I just relied on the ovulation tests since my babe still wakes up at night I can’t temp. It is a good sign that you had a period but that doesn’t mean for sure you’re ovulating.
11 months PP, period just returned Want baby #2 like yesterday LOL
Hello ladies! Any advice or comments is much appreciated
I’m 11 months PP, still BF a couple times a day. My period returned yesterday.
How safe am I to assume that my ovulation will be Day 14?
Now that my period has returned, will continuing to breastfeed impact my ovulation / ability to get pregnant again?
I sort of want my cake and eat it too... because I am not ready to stop BF my little one but I want another one sooner than later!
