Best time to test for ovulation?

Is there a specific time of day that is best to test for ovulation?
I know pregnancy tests are best/most sensitive first wee of the day. I’ve never tried ovulation tests before but am trying to check and get to know my body again before trying for baby 2 while still feeding my 16 month old

Personally I would take them in the morning with morning pee. For me it would barely show a line if I wasn’t close to ovulating. Then when I noticed them getting darker I would test around 11a/12p and then again at 6/7p. 
I did that because I drink at least a gallon of water a day and to cut my intake for three hours twice a day was really hard. 
I’m not sure if the morning trying would work for everyone. I just experimented to see if it would.
