Doesn't make a difference for us. I was in my period for the majority of our first year together due to the Depo shot making me bleed for 6 months straight and then some. We got over period sex real quick. If anything it helps cause it's like extra lube

So for light days, I go solo with THINX underwear.
For heavy days: I wear a diva cup at work and a sea sponge for the evenings. Why is this important? 
Okay, here’s the plan bride babe: 
1. wear a diva cup on your wedding day. Wear it through the ceremony, reception, EVERYTHING. You won’t have to change “feminine products” at all. This will collect the blood, and it will be liberating. 
2. When he carries you through the threshold, and things start getting hot... I recommend having a plan to excuse yourself to the bathroom. Take out that diva cup. Put in a sea sponge (found on amazon). AND HAVE MESS FREE PERIOD SEX. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
3. Take out sea sponge when appropriate. 
Disclaimer: don’t wear the Sponge for super long hours in order to avoid TSS (same as tampons). My recommendation is to use it for its purpose: MESS FREE PERIOD SEX. 
It is your wedding night! Your darling husband will of course want to sleep with his lovely bride :) If he has to wait, he has to wait. But I would TOTALLY give it a try.

My hubs wasn't crazy about the idea, I started using a menstrual disc and you can have sex with those in, now he is all for it because I'm always super horny on my period😂 
Even if you're not sure you want to use a menstrual disc all day, you could slip one in just before things get fun. I did that when I was first using them. Walgreens sells them, box of 10 for like $12. 
My hubs and I waited until our wedding night too. It was so worth it❤️

For your first time, I’d suggest waiting a few more days til you’re off. The first time having sex is messy regardless but still fun and meaningful, personally I wouldn’t want the memory stained (literally) in my mind looking like a crime scene haha. 
In my relationship we still have period sex a lot. At first I was uncomfortable with it bc I feel anything but sexy on my period, but my guy made me feel so comfortable and tells me all the time how attracted he is to me and that he doesn’t care, it’s just a natural part of our bodies. So now it’s not a big deal at all, just typically keep it to the shower or an easy to clean place.

Not for me. I have before but really not into it. My husband doesn’t mind, but it’s not something we would do. We use that time for just having some snuggle time or getting creative in other ways to be intimate. Honestly for me, on a wedding night, I couldn’t think of anything worse. On our wedding night we were absolutely exhausted, having sex was not on the agenda at all (but we had lived together for a couple of years by then) You’ll hopefully have a lifetime together, a few more days won’t matter in a years time.
