Please help
. I'm a first time mom so I dont know much at all about pregnancy. I am almost 34 weeks but I'm at L&D right now because of bad cramping and I'm about 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. They said my uterus is very irritable. I'm not sure what all this means? Should I be that effaced at 34 weeks? Does that mean baby is coming sooner then later? The nurse referred to it as "first stage of delivery" and I'm getting nervous
