Husband has had very low testosterone for years. His doctor treated it with testosterone shots never telling him that it would make his sperm count basically zero. We've been ttc since June 2018 but didnt start fertility treatments until December. The first doctor took him off testosterone and gave him hcg instead. That did not work because his testosterone levels got so low we could only have sex 1 or twice a week. We changed doctors to someone who specializes in hormonal treatments. New doctor put him back on testosterone shots, and HCG shots, and 50 mg clomid daily and an estrogen blocker. Apparantly as long as you take the clomid and hcg you can take the testosterone without it harming sperm count. He was taking those meds for 6 months and just found out we are finally pregnant!! I was so close to giving up and trying

Update. That pregnancy ended up being a chemical..... Back to the drawing board.
