So my milk production has slowed down even with consistency with pumping. (Baby has problems latching) In the past week I went from have a couple bags in the fridge to just keeping up with feedings and now I’m literally having to stop mid pump to put the milk in a bottle for him. I have Mother’s milk tea on the way now and oatmeal which I heard is supposed to help but when he wakes up from his next nap, I know I don’t have enough at the moment and I just pumped. Barely got an ounce.

I have formula samples and think I will have to use some today which is earlier than I anticipated. He’s also a big eater, only 2 and half of weeks and he’s eating four or more ounces a feeding. He’s rarely spits up either so I know he’s not over eating, just has a big appetite!

I’m a FTM and wondering how to introduce the formula for the first time, just go for it or try to do a small amount? Idk 😐 I’m wondering how he will react. Hopefully it won’t turn him off the milk entirely.
