Crib sleeping

Has anyone successfully transitioned baby to crib? (I’m also trying to ease him out of his swing) He did great the first day but now it’s a nightmare he screams bloody murder!! I will rock him to sleep and I’m trying to put him down when drowsy but he is not having it I let him cry a bit but he just won’t stop. He hates naps in there and getting him to sleep at night has become a longer process he would do so good in his bassinet and would sleep all night that’s why I thought he’d be fine in his crib but man was I wrong. help 😭😭
