I’m very proud of myself.
I started my new diet today, I ate a salad, a chicken sandwich, and a cup of sliced apples. My usual diet is full of junk food and way too much of it, so I’m proud of myself for actually trying. I’m doing a low-carb high-protein diet, I weigh 174 lbs, I’m 4’11 and 14 years old. I intend on losing 54 pounds, which may seem like a lot, but it’s the weight I was before I started eating terribly. My mom is doing this with me, which is absolutely amazing because it’ll help with her self-confidence and make her feel better in general. I’ve given myself a calorie limit of 1,800 calories to start, and I’ll gradually lower it to 1,200 calories. Question: is 50 carbs a good amount a day? More? Less? I try to get a little over the recommended amount of protein.
