Mashed potatoes: with the skins or without?

How do you all prefer your mashed potatoes? For fun. Didn't know which group to put this in haha

Without. I've never actually made them with the skins, so I can't say that I necessarily dislike them that way either.

It depends on how they are made. I like my mom’s mashed potatoes and they don’t have skins. They are really creamy and smooth. But I also enjoy if there are skins and there are some chunks. I like them both but with different meals if that makes sense. For thanksgiving or Christmas dinner I like the creamy skinless mashed potatoes. For a cook out type of thing with steak, I’d like the chunkier mashed potatoes with skin
