We’re renting a home that has this above the stove. We are renting through a company that represents the owner. Apparently this was on the ceiling before they bought the house, so they aren’t willing to fix it before we move in. Would this be something we could possibly do ourselves fairly easily? Anyone have experience with this? Is painting over it acceptable or would it require more work?
