Too early to test?

Period is late and I’ve got negative tests. Could it be too early to show on the test or if I was pregnant would it show up by now?

Maybe it is too early, maybe you have lower hcg hormones, so take another one for example 7 days, or could be late due to stress and anxiety

I’d go with not to early, unfortunately my last period was 8th aug I got my positive a week and half ago😞 maybe you ovulated later?
