Cloth Diapers

So I don't have any children yet(we're working on it 😉🤣) but I've been planning for the future and looking into ways to save money after we have a baby. Since my fiance is constantly mentioning how much money we'll spend on diapers alone(he's got mostly grown children from previous relationships) I've been looking into alternatives. I'm liking the idea of cloth diapering more and more so I wanted the advice of you cloth diaper using mamas out there!

Questions:

What's your favorite style of cloth diaper?

Which ones are best for avoiding leaks and blowouts?

Sized diapers or one size(grows as the baby does)?

Which are the slimmest?

What are the best insert materials for absorbancy(and avoiding leakage due to pressure on the diaper)?
