Can you have both?

Hi ladies I have a small dilemma. I have a best friend whom I’ve known since elementary school. We basically grew up together and she’s just my absolute best friend! I want her in my wedding party, obviously.

However, I also have a step sister and she’s also amazing! We’re the same age and we’re friends before our parents got together. She might as well be my actual sister.

When it comes to Maid of Honor, I don’t know who to pick. They’re both amazing women and have been there for me since I’ve known them.

My one best friend is getting married the summer before me (I’m her MOH) And my step sister isn’t even engaged yet so I was thinking, why not have a Matron Of Honor AND a Maid Of Honor?

Like is that a thing?? And how would I go about that? I didn’t even know Matron Of Honor was a thing until a couple months ago.
