Just switched from formula to milk this week. Has anyone seen this in their babies diaper? Could this be an allergy?

My neice and nephew had something similar. It turns out that they can't have cow's milk. It's a cow's milk allergy. They have to drink a specific milk. They are still healthy beautiful babies. I hope all is well. I just advise that you go to the Dr and let them test the babies stool. I hope I didn't scare.

Yes it look like blood in there. It’s either from straining to get out the harder turds, which formula causes, or it could be an allergy. Especially if there are other symptoms present. Tummy ache or gas, spitting up. Formula with iron tends to cause constipation. Talk to the pediatrician and ask what you should do. I was allowed to mix in a small amount of miralax into a bottle a day. It’s helped to keep the stool softer. Bc they do need the iron. Good luck! But don’t wait get this checked out
