Women who had an episiotomy

I am pregnant with my second, with my daughter I had a natural birth but I had to have an episiotomy as my contractions let me down and my daughter's heartbeat was dropping, I had a terrible labor. I was advised by two consultants afterwards that if I became pregnant again that I may have to have a C section. I am also a high risk pregnancy as I developed hydroprosis last time. Have any women who have had an episiotomy with their first gone to have a natural with their second? Or was you advised to have a C section? I want to try and go natural again but everyone is telling me to go for the c section route. I am only over 19 weeks pregnant but this has been playing on my mind a lot. Any advice? Thank you.
