28+4 today.. Heard a Pop sound

I'm so scared right now. I went to pee around 4 in the morning and heard a pop sound like a knuckle cracking. I wonder if it's common. I've read so many birth stories on this app where the water breaks with a pop sound. 😟 I hope that's not the case!

I'm not feeling any contractions or any other kind of pain. Keeping an eye on any kind of fluid leak or something. Don't know what else to do. I have an appointment with my doctor today. Should I wait till then or straight away head to L & D? I'm so confused and scared 😭

Update: I went to see my OB and she wasn't too worried about the pop sound. Still she checked if my water broke. Thankfully everything is fine and it was probably just my baby's bones making the popping sound. Thank you ladies for your comments and prayers. Now I can sleep at ease tonight! 😊
