SAHM lazy?

My boyfriend and I just got into an argument where he called me lazy for “not doing anything around the house” who else is having a hard time getting things done while taking care of their LO? I make sure I stay on top of at least the laundry, dinners, and dishes but even that can be difficult. I feel like I do so much and am so exhausted by the end of the day it’s hard to find the time between feedings, putting LO down for naps, making myself food & now feeding my LO solids, laundry, dishes, showering & giving my son a bath it made me cry when he told me that and it’s hard to explain to him how much I feel like I do but in words it doesn’t sound that difficult. I just want to know if I am alone here?

Make him baby sit for a day and make sure he does all the shit he expects you to do. If he’s not worshipping you and apologising by the end of it then you need a new man. I’d rip my husband a new asshole if he spoke to me like that and he knows it.

You're not alone and I get less done than what you do. I don't thing my guy understands either. Yes he has to get up and go to work and that's tiring but so is watching a baby 24/7.

Fuck that shit. My husband is well aware that his job is easier than mine. He gets a lunch break and they can goof off once and a while. He and his co workers even *gasp* talk about things besides work sometimes. When he’s at work 10 hours a day, he is only being productive max 7 hours.  When he gets home he is expected to help with baby, dishes, laundry, or whatever else I need. 
The weekends I sleep in and he deals with LO so  I can recharge, otherwise I wouldn’t survive the week. 
Your BF needs a reality check. Sounds like you need a spa day and he can parent (not babysit) for the day or weekend.

I simply would not tolerate my man speaking to me like that. Your his wife, not a maid. Why is it it your responsibility to do all the housework? You have a full time job in taking care of your baby. If you can get a few things done great. He should have faith that your getting as much done as you can, if not then he simply doesn’t think very highly of you and that shouldn’t be tolerated. You don’t need to prove anything to him except that he’s ignorant AF. On the weekend, take off for the day and leave him to care for the baby and see how much he gets done. What an asshole.

Leave him with the baby for the weekend or even a day while you run errands. Stay gone at least 8 hours. Don’t prep food or bottles for him. He’ll only learn by going thru it. My husband has watched our daughter even one weekend when I had to work. Make him understand.

Boy bye 👋 I hired a nanny for a few hours once a week so that I can knock out my wife duties. Not saying this is how everybody should do it just saying you’re not alone. Getting tasks done with a baby at home is nearly impossible.

My husband has watched my baby for 2 to 4 hours before without any expectations of house chores to be done and I think he pulls his hair out. I competed at a horse show and was gone for 10 hours and my husband no longer complains about anything not getting done. He knows that if I could get it done I would and that each day is completely different than the one before. So even though I was able to maybe get additional housework or Farmstead work completed one day it doesn't mean I will be able to get anything done the next day.

If my husband even makes a joke about me being lazy I shut that shit down fast. Im pregnant again so that’s exhausting, and we also still hold our son for naps because his reflux still bothers him, even on medication, so I don’t get much done partially because of that. But still. My husband knows how much work our son is because of medical issues so he doesn’t usually make comments, but he knows how pissed I get if he does. 
Until your boyfriend stays home for a day and sees how exhausting it is, he doesn’t get to even think about making comments like that. I always tell my husband, “at least you get scheduled breaks at work where nobody bothers you and you get to actually sit down and eat lunch. Oh and get to pee by yourself.” Puts it into perspective real quick
