Feeling defeated. Starving my baby??

Last night from 2am to 5am my 11 day old baby didn't want to come away from my boobs. I thought it was the standard cluster feeding situation, but she would squirm the second she pulled off. She would fall asleep on them and then stop sucking entirely, and when she realised she wasn't sucking she would start crying. So I thought maybe she was comfort sucking instead.

However after 3 hours straight of this and no sleep, crying my eyes out, I got my partner to take her. He gave her a bottle of expressed breast milk and she devoured the lot (3oz) and fell asleep.

Did I essentially just feed her nothing for 3 hours?! She was squirming for food and I didn't notice? I'm making milk :( what happened?! Daytime's aren't like this
