So I just got out of the emergency room yesterday night because I was severely dehydrated due to nonstop vomiting (3-6 times an hour for over 48 hours, to the point I was throwing up tissue from my throat) I got an IV of 4 L and a zofran and reglan. I’m concerned about the medication they gave me and sent me home with (reglan) so I cut them down from their original 10mg to 2mgs and have been taking that to limit my vomiting. They said that the amount of weight I’ve lost this pregnancy and my conditions are worse than the “effect” these drugs could have on the baby? What are these effects?

I also had an emergency ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy (I didn’t think it was because I’m 8 weeks and some change) but they did find a subchorionic hemorrhage underneath the placenta. They said it’s an abnormality but not a concern til the third trimester. But that I need to see an OBGYN ASAP to monitor the hemorrhage.

Has anyone experienced a subchorionic hemorrhage ?? What is it?? What are the risks to my baby and I? Why is it not a concern til 3 rd trimester? And is reglan safe?

Thank you everyone this is my first pregnancy and I haven’t been able to see an OBGYN still, my first appointment isn’t for 3 weeks because that’s as soon as they can “urgently” get me in .
