Cloth diapers!? opinions and advice please!

So our second baby is on the way and I'm trying to decide this time around if its worth doing cloth diapers? We didnt use them with our first but I'm really interested in it the second time around because 1. I hear it can save money big time and 2. it's better for our planet. but I have questions... my husbands main concern is I'm going to wash shitty diapers in the same washing machine I wash our clothes in. which does turn me off of it thinking about it but then I remember well I would wash my sons clothes that he had blowouts in? isn't it pretty much the same? But like how many diapers to you buy? how often do you find yourself doing the laundry? what do you do when your out in public!? how do you know what brand to buy? do they work as good as disposable when it comes to night time wetting?? can you use them as long as regular diaper loke goes up sizes into toddler if needed??? and if theres any other questions that you had when you started that I didnt ask please post! and hopefully with the answer as well lol Please no nasty comments. but comment and give advice if you have any or just share your experience using cloth diapers with me! thank you in advance!!!
