1 week 3 days postpartum

Two days before having my son I weight 160 lbs. As of 1 week postpartum I am down to 140 lbs. Can’t wait to start my workouts again🤗💪🏾👊🏾💥

I weight lifted throughout my pregnancy (was okd by my OB and I listened to my body). I continued to eat whatever I wanted just in moderation. Food isn’t the enemy, you’re still able to enjoy your favorite foods if and when you know your limit and are in a calorie deficit.

I worked out till the last day of my pregnancy (had baby at 39.1 weeks) and walked a couple times a week for 30-45 minutes. I gained 21 pounds during my pregnancy.

Yesterday my baby boy turned 2 weeks. I’m two weeks postpartum and breastfeeding has been amazing.

With my first I didn’t take care of myself while pregnant. I over ate and never exercised. Still blamed the baby weight at 2-3 years postpartum 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. Even then I never took exercising serious. Until I got pregnant with my second in 2017. At 26 weeks pregnant I decided to give weight lifting a shot and after approval from my OB I started working out 5x a week and walked 2-3x a week.

Having two babies under the age of 2 I imagine weight loss being extremely difficult after my third baby. Come to my surprise my journey has been amazing thus far.
