Is this wrong of me?

So my friends birthday was weekends ago and I didn’t have much money to spend so a day before we hung out and made sure she had a good time. She brought up going to a club for her birthday with other people and I was down depending on if it’s expensive and she told me the price which was 15 per person and she made it sound like it wasn’t a problem to spend 30 dollars. Well I only had maybe 30 on me anyways and I didn’t get paid for another week really. And I told her I’m down to just hang out with everyone but I financially can’t afford to spend that much money on myself bc one we couldn’t drink bc if you’re underage they put a thing on you to know. So I told her I’m sorry to have a good time I just can’t afford to go if that’s what’s happening. she said she understood but ever since she’s been really distant and I’ll make plans but she’ll come off like she doesn’t want to. I have a feeling she might’ve said “It’s okay” but doesn’t feel that way. Was it wrong of me to not go?
