Crush issues

So i have a crush on a boy ive had off and on feelings for, for about 7 years(he was my first crush and my first kiss) (he has had off and on feelings for me too)ive known him my whole life and i grew up with him i have recently gotten closer with him and we’ve become good friends i confessed my feelings to him and he kinda friend zoned me he doesnt want to get into a relationship right now and i kinda just rolled with it i still really like him though but i dont want to ruin our friendship. He knows everything about me and i know everything about him our familys are really close and idk i just need advice on how to get over someone. Help plz
