(Uk mums) does the midwife usually let you listen to baby’s heartbeat at 16w appointment?

I’m just wondering whether it’s worth my partner getting time off work to come.. not worth him coming if its just urine test and blood pressure again 🤣

I'm 31 weeks and I've only listened to my little ones heart beat at a private scan and when I had to be monitored at the hospital for slowed featal movements, midwife has never offered or listened x

my midwife used the doppler at 16 weeks not sure if it's the same for every area

I think it will depend on your individual area, mine didn't use the doppler until after my 20 week scan.
