Should I go to hospital or not

I am 36 wks 3 dys. I went for my Dr appointment this morning and I am at a 2,I have since started bleeding. I called my Dr on my to the hospital and was told to go home ,they would call me back to check on me since the blood is probably from the internal examination. I have been up with contractions on and off since 4 am and I told my Dr this. I am feeling a lot of pelvic pain and pressure and I am still bleeding.
