Medium spotting and moderate cramps during ovulation

So this has never happened before but I noticed that I was having cramps and I was spotting so I checked when I was supposed to start but glow says my periods two weeks away so I don’t know what’s going on. I looked it up and I’ve gotten things telling me it might be because I’m ovulating but I don’t know if what’s happened is normal because they say if the discharge is pinkish brown then it might be because of ovulation but my discharge is dark brown. Help?
