Spotting ?

Why am I spotting so much ? My period ended during the first week of September. Ever since my period ended I have been spotting the whole entire month I dont know why. This has never happened to me before. Today it looks like I got my period. My pantyliner was full on dark brown blood. My period isnt suppose to start for another week. Btw** I am not on birth control at all I stopped months ago
