Yeast infection while pregnant 29 week

So I have a yeast infection and I didn’t know that’s what it was because it’s my first one. I don’t have a smell, any “chunky” discharge or anything like that. I HONESTLY just thought it was irritation from the heat.

But my skin on and around my labia/vagina is peeling off in white chunks. It itches and burns bad. I had it for a week and waited for it go away and I had an appointment scheduled for the 18th (week and a half of having it) so I waited until my appointment to speak to my doctor and there they confirmed it’s a yeast infection. They’re giving me medication and a cream for it.

What I’m wondering is, can it hurt the baby that I waited a week to get treated? I only waited because I had an appointment coming up already.
