Help!

So my period was to start on the 18th... I had brown spotting and some pink... happened last cycle and then day 2 full blown period. So I woke up this cycle day 2 of period and didn’t have a tampon in so I woke often waking and wiping just really pale pink... and then wipe this morning and it was red the entire toilet paper... so I put a tampon in, I changed my tampons every 4 hours checking my bleeding basically pulling a dry tampon with only half of it having brown and pink blood on it all day. So at 9:30pm I just kept it out... I got home from work at 1am.... sneezed and was like surely if I have my period something will come out when I wipe.... went pee and nothing.... I had a BFN on the first day of my period.... what should I do? Wait it out see what it does? How long to test again?
