Had to drive themselves to the hospital?? At first I didn’t care but now the closer it’s getting, I’m a little freaked out.. I’m most likely going to be by myself while giving birth I just don’t know how the drive home will be ☹️

I would say find at least a close friend who would be willing to drive you. You can always hire a cab or Lyft if it came down to it, but having someone you know and trust would be better. You'll want to rest and focus not in driving.

Can you talk to your dr about not having support? I have heard that some will schedule an induction, so you know exactly when to go and won’t be in labor.

Just had my first baby 2 weeks ago and I thought I would be able to drive myself if I had to, but labor went super quick and I was not prepared lol. I can't comment on the drive back as you never know what's going to happen during the birth, especially if you need a c section. I only had a first degree tear and would have been totally fine to drive myself home. Advice for the drive there is to give yourself plenty of time. My contractions got really intense really quick and by the time we were leaving there was no way I could drive. I would try your hardest to have a back up plan.
