Is this normal?!!!

Hey guys
I’m 32+3 and I was just doing my hair when my pinky toe started to hurt a lot. I just looked at it and now it feels swollen and looks swollen too. Should I be concerned? Other than that I feel fine. I should also mention it feels warm and it’s red, but you can see that in the picture. Should I call the doctor?

Usually warm and red is a sign of infection. Do you have a cut anywhere on the toe or did you injure it recently? You could always draw a line as to wear the red is now and monitor if and how fast it spreads up your foot. If it spreads I would talk to a dr for sure. It might not be anything but I’d get it looked at if it lasts too long.
