Is having sex after 3 months of dating too early?

So my boyfriend told me he would wait until Christmas time to have sex for the first time I feel like that’s too early. Because we’re both virgins but idk if I’m gonna be ready for that time to have sex with him.

I don’t think it’s too early.... BUT if you don’t feel ready or comfortable then don’t rush it! Do what feels right for you! I also wouldn’t plan for a specific time. That will put so much pressure on the situation. I suggest just letting it happen whenever the time feels right ☺️

It’s too early if you aren’t ready. That could be after one day, one month, one year. It’s whatever feels right for both of you. Talk about it with your boyfriend. Good communication is key to a good sex life. I’ve had boyfriends where we waited. I slept with my husband on our second date (although we had been friends for a year before that). Both were right.

My first boyfriend and I dated 6 months before we had sex... I was a virgin and he wasn’t. He never set a timeline or pressured me in anyway, he just waited until I was ready. (I was almost 20 btw) 
If this guy is giving you some ultimatum that he wants sex by Christmas or he’s breaking up with you, then he’s not worth your time and you should just cut him loose now. You don’t need to rush into anything, and should only be dating someone who is willing to wait without pressuring you. 
That said, there is nothing wrong with having sex 3 months into a relationship, or even 3 days into a relationship, as long as BOTH people are ready for that. Whatever type of relationship you are comfortable with is fine, but it’s important you find a partner who’s on the same page.
