Nausea at 38 weeks

Ok mama’s. I am currently 38 weeks. I have been having severe nausea since around midnight last night. I have not been sick/nauseous my entire pregnancy until now. I read that this could be a sign labor is nearing. Can anyone vouch for this? I am currently 1 cm dilated, baby has dropped and I lost my mucus plug 3 nights ago. I am so ready to meet my little one I am just hopeful for any signs are labor at this point 😩 I am currently so nauseous I can hardly get out of bed. I am making sure to stay hydrated, so far there has been no vomiting. Have you ever experienced this before labor?
