Co sleeping and transitioning to crib
My daughter is 10 weeks old and we have been co sleeping with her since she was born. We did try her bassinet but she would wake up every 10 mins and cry. My husband would get a full nights sleep either way but I was the one having to get out of bed every 10 mins and it was exhausting. I honestly don’t mind having baby in our bed, I co slept with my son and he turned out just fine. Well the other day my mother in law came over to see the baby and she asked me where we had the baby sleep at night, so I told her we have her in our bed. Well she goes “oh no are you serious? You can’t do that, you will never get her out of your bed if you do that, she has to be in her own bed” and I’m sure she spoke with my husband about it because today he told me we can’t have baby in bed with us anymore as she will get to used to it. This means no more sleep for me, I’m breast feeding so having her right next to me is so much easier and she will sleep through the night if next to me. I’m not sure what to do now. I’m kind of annoyed since my husband doesn’t get up with her anyway so it really doesn’t effect him where she sleeps.
