Given Tylenol to babies before their routine shots?

I did. He was clearly in pain at the injection points.

No never give it before the shots. If baby is in pain it gets a fever after I’d call and see what they recommend. My babe had a 101.4 fever after his 4 month shots so I asked and they said to give him Tylenol. But I wouldn’t before that’s just unnecessary

For her 2 month shots I did right off the bat. Assessed 4 hours later and she seemed just extra cuddly so I didn’t give anymore. 4 month shots, waited 30 minutes and she’s was extra fussy. She only needed one round.

I don’t give Tylenol unless she’s in really bad pain where she can’t even handle it and screaming in pain and can’t sleep. I always check her temperature and if it gets high I call the nurse to see what she recommends me doing. I wouldn’t give it before, your baby could surprise you and handle it well.
