Normal sciatic pain or back labor?

Question

Since I cleaned the bathroom yesterday, I've had horrible sciatic pain and it's been a struggle to get around ever since. When I'm sitting I feel okay but once I get up I limp around everywhere. I'm leaning towards this being normal sciatic at the end of pregnancy (I'm 38 + 5) but can anyone who had a previous back labor let me know what they think? Thanks in advance!

That does not sound like back labour. I had sciatic, and it was localized. My back labour literally felt like someone was trying to rip out the lower part of my back and spine lol. It also comes and goes. 1-1.5 mins of excruciating pain and then nothing at all for 5-10 minutes. When it started, it came on light and was shorter, and increasingly got more severe until my water broke and at that point it was unbearable lol.

My back labour wasn't where my sciatic pain was. And if it goes away when you sit down it's most likely not labour.
