I lost mine the morning I went into labor, I was 39wks 3 days. Lost my plug around 8 or 9 in the morning and around 11:15 that night my water broke, had my son at 10:24 am the next morning

Mucus plugs can also grow back so if you lose parts of it early, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll go into labor

2nd- never saw it. Just went into labor randomly & gave birth without ever seeing a plug  
3rd- I was already in labor when I lost it.
