Hey ladies! Are there any speech language pathologist who are expecting and work in a medical setting? I am the only SLP in a rural hospital. I am responsible for completing modified barium swallow studies so will be exposed to radiation. What did you ladies do? Have the Rad Techs feed for you or just double led and wear a fetal monitor? I have a study coming up Thursday and plan to discuss with the traveling Rad before we compete the study.
