So my brother was in the navy and moved to washington years ago where he met his now wife. They have 1 baby girl and another on the way. My brother is now out of the navy and in the reserves. He is down here in San Diego for 2 weeks doing a stint for the reserves and my mom happened to have gotten tickets to the Florida Georgia line concert while he was here so they were going to go. My brother has a best friend that he met in the navy and also super close with his wife. My SIL is also close with them but probably not as close as my brother. Well the best friends wife is close with my parents and has been talking about wanting to come down to San Diego to visit and also has a Florida Georgia line concert on her bucket list. So my mom and the friend got together to say how about she flies down here in secret to surprise my brother at the concert. So she came down, they all had a great time at the concert but now my SIL is super pissed at my brother and mother and the friend for 1 not telling her I guess (which I thought they had after my brother came down and before the friend left) and 2 maybe just jealous? But she and her mom think my mom and the friend were in the wrong for doing this and my mom just thought she was doing something nice for my brother and now shes upset. So who do you think is wrong here? I think my SIL just overreacted but I'm also a little biased I think cuz she was never my favorite person to begin with.
