Cervix check?

In england do they check the cervix during pregnincy if its dilaiting open or soften or the legth..anything?.. 24 weeks pregnant..

They checked mine at my sweep when over 40 weeks as in your past your due date let’s see if there is anything happening before she did it but 100% not before in fact I seem to recall her saying they weren’t allowed to until you are over due x

They checked mine in my second pregnancy when I was 39 weeks pregnant. But only because I was asking for a sweep. In my third pregnancy they didn't check me at all because I was having a csection at 38 weeks

They can tell if you have a sweep but other than that they won’t check until in labour. It increases the risk of infection the more they check. From about 38 weeks they feel down in your pelvic bone to see how far baby has dropped but that’s all

Nope not until you are in labour, it is an infection risk and totally unnecessary
