Contaminated urine?

I wound up in the ER last night, and they wanted to do a routine urine sample. I tried my best to “clean” with the supplies wipe as best as I could with being hooked up to an IV and all sorts of things. The Doctor came back in and told me my urine seemed contaminated, it had abnormal bacteria and higher white blood cell count. My OB didn’t want to treat it for a UTI yet, they sent it off for a culture and said they would contact me. Could it have been from not wiping well enough? Does anyone know how long cultures take?

Sorry for the long post! I think I’m just worried about the what-ifs!
