Membrane sweep at 38 weeks?

My doctor wants to try this because baby is measuring 4 weeks ahead. I had it done with my last baby (it worked), but I was 40+1. Should I do it or reject? If this doesn't work she wants to induce at 39 weeks.

I'm planning doing the same cause they don't want me to go to 40 weeks. They can't do a sweep though if your cervix isn't favorable.

I’d do it. If baby it’s ready it won’t usually work. It could help jump start things if you’re looking at inducing though

Totally your call.  You could always wait until a couple days before the scheduled induction too
