Has anyone done both the quad and the cell free dna testing?

I did both and got low risk for everything on the cell free dna but also did the quad and got high risk for Down syndrome on that one I’m just confused why they are total opposite

I’m in the same boat as you. I’m currently 17w 2d. My doctor’s message:
“Your screening test for Down's syndrome is abnormal. Since your Progenity test showed low risk for Down syndrome. This may be a marker of increase risk for preterm labor, small baby, preeclampsia, or still birth. Please make sure to come to your 20 weeks anatomy ultrasound as scheduled. We will also have more frequent visits and ultrasound to monitor the baby in the third trimester.”
Trying my best to think good thoughts and do all the right things. That’s all I can do at this point...hoping for the best for you as well.

Quad screening is Notorious for false positive results. That’s why the recommend the NIPT if at all possible. I had to have the quad with my daughter and they said it’s pretty reliable if it’s a negative screen, but if it’s positive it’s only somewhere been 30-40% accurate. If you have your dates just a few days off it can give you a false positive.
