Is this pregnancy test positive?

I’ve taken these tests before, but this has never occurred. I waited 3 minutes and all that showed was a negative result... hours later, I take a peek again, and I see this. Is this a faulty test? Is it negative or positive? I’ll test again soon, but my period is a week late. Thanks all!
