Is it unfair to cook fish in the house of someone with a severe allergy towards it?
My partner has a very severe allergy to any seafood, he has two epi-pens in the house and one we take everywhere with us. I personally worry a lot about fish being cooked and eaten within the household because the person who eats it (my dad) does not wash up after himself properly and obviously anything going into his system that is seafood will give him anaphylaxis and potentially death. He often even “forgets” about important things like washing the oven trays that we cook on in general and always cooks steak on the grill and legit leaves all the fat and dirt in there for potentially weeks. Am I wrong to feel like he shouldn’t be cooking it in our house given he just isn’t careful enough with the contamination aspect of my partners allergy?
