How to tell boyfriend I’m pregnant?

I got pregnant even though I was on birth control so this is a complete surprise. I’m 20 and he’s 24, none of us really wanted a baby right now. How can I tell him that I’m pregnant? He’s really into cars and racing so maybe something with that?

If you guys weren’t trying to have a baby and this isn’t something you were expecting, I probably wouldn’t plan something cute as a surprise. I would sit him down and tell him straight out. He’s going to be shocked and might not take the news that well so you just have to get ready for that.

If it wasn’t planned and you think he will be upset, I’d probably just tell him.  I’m not sure you will get the reaction you’re looking for with a surprise.
