Sadly our April pregnancy journey has ended.

Very upsetting to learn that we lost our twins this past week. This is my second miscarriage this year. Size and heartbeats looked great on our 8 week scan. I went in for my 10 week appointment for bloodwork and they were unable to find the heartbeats on Doppler. They sent me for an ultrasound and it appeared that one baby stopped growing at 8 weeks and 4 days and the other stopped at 10 weeks 1 day. We are waiting for genetic testing and then I will get blood work in about a month to see if a cause can be found. I don’t know what the next step will be. I would love to hear encouraging stories especially from older FTM as I will be 40 next month. Thank you.
